A little about us

Cora Lynn is situated on Bunyip River Road Cora Lynn and is in the middle of farming country in West Gippsland. Cora Lynn consists of a small hamlet with a population of about fifty people. We participate in the West Gippsland Football and Netball League.

The club has thrived over the last decade through  innovative approaches, committed volunteers and attracting the best people to administer the club, the best coaches and the ability to mould strong on field success through family based values.

Our value of Respect is supported by behaviours required for all major stakeholders.

Our Teams

West Gippsland Football League

The club supports Senior, Reserves, Under 18's, Under 16's and five netball sides based at Cora Lynn. Our junior pathways program is based at Cora Lynn from 2019 and is going from strength to strength, including a variety of junior teams.

To continue to be successful in the future and to see our current juniors grow to be successful seniors on and off the field, in both football and netball, we are always seeking to build the volunteer and membership capacity of the Club.

West Gippsland Football League

The netball club are an integral part of the club as we participate in a community football program where the netball and football run concurrently through each match day. This is a wonderful and enduring tradition.

Our netball club has recently had huge improvements to our facilities, including the installation of state of the art lighting sufficient to allow both the football and netball clubs to play night games with approved lighting.

The netball club has six teams operating every match day with three junior sides and three senior sides. It is a very successful club because it has been able to attract good quality administrators, excellent coaches and a committed band of parent volunteers. Both the netball and football clubs cooperate with many events throughout the year.

More than a club
It is a community

Cora Lynn is a community club and as such we have a motto around ‘Many hands make light work’. We require  players and their families to actively support the Club and wear our logo with pride.

As part of being a member of the Club it is expected that people will participate in some way. Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses but between the hundreds involved, there should be a small contribution you could make. For some who may like talking to others, they may be happy to support membership and sponsorship drives, for organised people, they may like to help with behind the scenes administration activities such as rosters, whilst others may be happy to join together and assist in the kitchen.

If you prefer to contribute to sponsorship through your business, this is also a fantastic contribution to the Club. In return, there would be benefits to you. Players, families and members will be encouraged to support all businesses and organisations supporting us.
